The opening of classes seem to be one of the most difficult time of the year, plenty of work, plenty of things that would annoy us and try our patience. But these trying times provide us with the best opportunity to be patient and be charitable.
Trial number 1: As I was driving home from the university, a smoke began to emerge from the engine of my old red car, only to find out that the tube connecting the carburetor with the battery was busted. Here in the photo, I took my car to the shop of an electrical specialist. Expensive indeed, but nonetheless efficient work.

Trial number 2: The work in the office is accumulating. Deadlines to meet. Meetings to attend. problems to solve. Students to look after. Does my desk look desperately disorganized?
