Sir, I believe this "Tridentine Mass" is just old wine in a new
bottle. The fad begins once again "oh cool, it's Latin and the priest
faces the altar". "Tridentine" is the new buzzword of the day just
like Zagu, Havaiiannas, FIFA Lanyards, Tiendensitas or whatever the
eff Filipinos think make them "cool". Uy may "Tridentine" ako will
sound like "I have new Havaiianas". What a laugh sir. "Religious but
NOT spiritual", that's what Filipinos are. RP boasts of being the
"Only Christian Country in Asia" but are always on the top of the list
among the most corrupt and backward countries this side of the world.
The Catholic Church keeps getting on their high horse, beating their
chests against the Government's population control programs when in
fairness to the government, they are just doing their jobs of
REMEDIATING THE CHURCH'S FAILURES.
1. The Church has FAILED in convincing people that fornicating is bad
and impractical so kids keep knocking up their girlfriends and have
babies when they are not yet ready. You would then suggest abortion to
these soon to be parents but they will refuse and the reason of course
would be "It is against the word of God". It does not make sense to
hear a religious based reason from them because... If fornicating was
OK with them then, then abortion should be OK for them now! It's all
or nothing, you either believe in God or you don't! If you fornicate,
you did not believe in God so who should you do so now that an
abortion is an imperative?
2. The Church is not making any sense in discouraging other forms of
birth control (that are more effective and simpler for the masses) and
having these people have so many kids. Just tune in to shows like
Wowowee and you will see contestants there telling their sob stories
of how they work as a street sweeper, her husband is jobless and they
have 11 kids! That was from an actual show. The people around me felt
so sorry for her (awww kawawa naman siya) but I did not. She was
irresponsible, and she is getting what she deserves. People like her
are the reason that birth control should be urgently promoted and even
enforced like in the People's Republic of China. Population count and
density is rapidly increasing that we cannot have this church creating
nuisances that make it difficult for the government to achieve
population control success. Not to mention, those people best not
continue polluting the already murky Filipino gene pool.
So, if the Church wants the government to stop promoting birth
control, then they should take out their marketing hats and
successfully convince people that underage/pre-marital sex is bad and
that people who could not afford babies should not have any or an
excess of what they can support.
